CSLB investigators posed as homeowners seeking bids for home improvement projects including: roofing, landscaping, painting and fencing. Thirty-six people were arrested and now face misdemeanor charges for contracting without a license. Thirty of them were charged with illegal advertising on the popular Internet bulletin board, Craigslist.
